Our office dressed up this year as Hawaiians. It was rather fun. We took some pictures of our beautiful staff.
Steve Thacker, Lisa Summers, Cheryl Acree, Karen Buck, Marilyn Holje, Marsha Morrow, Blaine Lutz, Jeannine Teel, and of course myself.
Nicla and the girls came to the office to visit in their costumes. Bridget is in love with Batman. She said she is going to marry him.

Can we say.....WHERE THE HELL DID THE SUMMER GO!!!
62 pounds lighter and a house that is under major changes, working full time and doing the work along with other responsibilities is the reason I have not posted ANYTHING. So for the next few days (or late night evenings) I will be getting caught up on a summer that has gone faster than cotton candy placed on the tonge. I will be posting from the lastest to the most current.

New Fridge
The tile is finished and our new refridgerator has arrived. How exciting.
We now have a great kitchen for just one minute.
Now we have to take all the furniture out of the family room, dining room and living room to do the Pergo floor.

Bridget's Birthday's Cake
It's Bridget's birthday and Nicla made her a witches cake. It turned out so adorable I had to take a picture. She is so good at her cake decorating.
Nicla used a Barbie Doll for the witch.
Bridget is excited to be 4.

Shaela's Heart Surgery
Shaela had open heart surgery for scar tissue build up. She did so well and we are so blessed.
We went to visit, Bridget was spending the day with us so we went to visit along with the boys.
Wyatt was very solemn. I think he was thinking about his surgery earlier in the spring. I also believe these two cousins have a strong bond.
Shaela kept a smile and tried to stay happy the whole time we were there even though she was in pain.
Great Grandma Smith went with us and she had a good talk with Shaela. I am glad she was able to visit with us.
Nicla is such a good strong mother. She really helps Shaela handle all these challenges. Two special spirits.
Shane is a wonderful dad but look at him here...."Bridget come here right now." Shane makes we laugh.
These two pictures are some of my favorites.
I cherish my grandkids and I just wish I could see my Arkansas grandchildren more. I am blessed with abundant blessings in all my grandchildren.

Kitchen Coming Along
Michael has been coming over a lot to tile. He has been such a great help and an excellent craftsman. Look how nice it is coming. See the marble inlay. That took as an evening to just lay it out. (Michael is a perfectionist and I am glad.)
The sticky notes are where no one should walk. The cement is not dry yet. Oh how nice it will be when done.

The Kitchen's Turn for Tile
The kitchen title has started. Lots of work but lots of fun.
Stove area.
Oh no, there must have been a leak under the dishwasher. So now to fix it.
Mike looks overwhelmed with the large area to be tiled. In his words...."I haven't done anything quit this large before."
This is the mess in my dinning room. Only the fridge is of use in this room.
This is the family room. No TV to enjoy here!
